Description
Echinopsis chiloensis var. borealis is a columnar cactus that reaches about 26ft tall and tends to enjoy more water than other cacti. It is found in Chile at various locations. Slow growing but may pick up speed in an oversized wide, shallow pot for root expansion. Likes to have lime in sustrate, be it annual addition of dolomitic lime and bonemeal or all-purpose crushed limestone gravel 1/8″-1/4″ added to your cactus soil mix. These seed-grown plants are roughly 3″ tall.
I have a licensed Florida nursery and can sell to lower 48 except California – – No California sales due to rigorous and expensive nematode certification requirements for Florida growers.
