Description
Pilosocereus pachycladus spp pernambucoensis, field collection number CS154 is a large tree cactus from Paulo Alfonso, Bahia – Brazil. It has somewhat more ribs than others within pachycladus, and is variable in color but is often a waxy pastel avocado or sage green when really large, often sporting waxy powder blue on newer growth. Pictured is a row of several green P. pernambucoensis amidst wooly blue cacti.
