Description

Pilosocereus aff. maxonii (city of Comayagua, Dept. of Comayagua, Honduras), 11 or more inches tall.  Grown from seed I was given by Thomas Cseh in the U.S.  Location data updated from Oropoli to Comayagua, as I am informed mature stems were moved from now-destroyed hatitat and rooted in collector’s Oropoli yard. It is a fresh and badly needed source of Pilosocereus Leucocephalus (in which this taxon is included) for the trade and cultivation – one that hasn’t been adulterated by hybridization or confusion from people selling P. pachycladus misrepresented as various local varieties of P. leucocephalus or P. leucocephalus palmeri.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-zF5TL7PbtA

I have a licensed Florida nursery and can sell to the lower 48 except California – – No California sales due to rigorous and expensive nematode certification requirements for Florida growers.
