Pilosocereus aff. flexibilispinus “Sitio Grande, Bahia”
$60.00
Description
Pilosocereus aff. flexibilispinus “Sitio Grande, Bahia” is a pale blue-green columnar cactus from Brazil. It is uncommon in cultivation and is quite proving to be the fastest growing Pilosocereus I’ve had in Florida. This particular specimen originates from Sitio Grande, and the field collection number is CS140. At maturity the newest growth on the stem top produces off white “cotton balls” at areoles in advance of flower buds. It is a member of the P. Pentaedrophorus phylogenetic group of this genus. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Kh0sWsErivM
Small plants $60. Large specimens of flowering maturity of which I only have a few left are $500. I have a licensed Florida nursery and can sell in the lower 48 except California – – No California sales due to rigorous and expensive nematode certification requirements for Florida growers.
Please contact me for current prices, as plants continually grow larger between updates to this commerce page. I would be happy to select and photograph plants for you prior to ordering.
