Pachycereus pecten-aboriginum
$200.00
Description
Indian comb cactus, Pachycereus pecten-aboriginum, $150-$250. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Yz8xInjD2Ds It is a very large, v-shaped branching cactus and a member of the genus of Earth’s largest cacti. Plants and seeds are found infrequently in cultivation. Five years old and growing very fat, fast and well in a mix of mineral and organic substrate. They can grow up to 49 feet tall and are found in Sonora, Sinaloa, Chiapas, Baja and Chihuaua. I have a 100% success rate in rooting cuttings and pupping out remaining stumps. Good to about 30f but should be covered to prevent frost. Highly Florida-able in well-drained mix for Central, South Florida, like its co-regents of the same genus P. weberi and P. pringlei. I will ship to Lower 48 except CA. Cactus Island Nursery (licensed Florida nursery) – – No California sales due to rigorous and expensive nematode certification requirements for Florida growers.
