Description

Myrtillocactus geometrizans – “blue candle” or “blueberry cactus”, has proven to be a highly Florida-able cactus when on well-draining, amended sandy high ground.  In Mexico it is prized for its dried edible “blueberries”, or bilberries as they’re properly called.  It branches early and frequently, becoming a large shrub with tons of arms over time.
