Echinopsis terscheckii KLA 32 C
$30.00
Description
Echinopsis terscheckii, Argentine saguaro, is among the largest cacti in the world. It is sometimes mistaken for the classic Arizona saguaro but grows much faster and has fewer ribs. It is one of the few cold-hardy large columnar cacti that can tolerate some frost, temperatures in the teens and wet ground in minimum 8b hardiness zone. They are billiard ball to baseball sized plants.
In north Florida these should do well outdoors in beds amended with well-drained, mineral-heavy cactus mix. I can sell to the lower 48 except California, which has astringent nematode requirements.
